We need both IQ and EQ

There is Emotional Quotient (EQ) and Intellectual Quotient (IQ). Almost all of us especially those that have gone through a school system have IQ.  


I think that society embraces IQ more than EQ. You can rarely find learned person who has both EQ and IQ. Society has created a system that embraces intelligence more than emotional intelligence. 


As I write today, school systems are good but they have created people with high IQ and without EQ at all. Nowadays, we rarely care about how we communicate, we just communicate! We also don't care about how love and empathy is a good thing coz we have too much IQ anyway.


Today I reiterate Jim Carrey's words, we have capitalism without a conscience, and this is as a result of high IQ without EQ. Capitalism without a conscience has created wars almost on every front. 

Our world cares about people being highly educated (IQ) but they don't care about their spiritual and emotional intelligence (EQ). We have people with the highest form of education and they lack EQ, to me that is all nothing just as vanity of vanity all is vanity!


I sum up with Aristotle's saying "educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all." We really care about IQ than EQ. We need both!
